Shortly before 10 PM European Time on Monday, August 25, Gisel de Marco closed her budget and became the 25th artist to raise $50,000 on SellaBand. A fantastic achievement for this female artist from Argentina, but also another milestone for SellaBand itself.
The success of SellaBration, the start of the third business year, the launch of the new website and the stellar rise of Miss De Marco to 50K, all in just 10 days. When the new site went live, Gisel was around $36,000 iin budget and still in third place on the Artist Search. During the weekend her phenomenal rise to close her budget began. New Believers joined -more than 50 in the last 24 hours- and existing Believers increased their Parts. On Monday morning she was at 43K and people could feel that she could very well finish her quest for $50,000 on that same day.
